A Multi faith prayer event on All Souls Eve was held at dusk on the 2nd of November in the Famine graveyard in Carr’s Hill Cork to remember our ancestors who perished in the Great Famine.
The graveyard is only accessible through local fields so it was a small gathering. Candles and Incense were lit and everyone spoke a few words representing their tradition and a wreath of light and leaves was created.
